About me |
|
Trained
in my home country Germany as a MBA, I eventually was the assistant
to the managing director, trainer for office administration
apprentices, and fulfilled the duties of the human resource manager in
a medium-sized engineering and manufacturing company.
In the midst of my career, I was confronted with a chronic disease that
proved resistant to conventional treatment. I was then advised to take
a course in Autogenic Training. Soon enough, practicing Autogenic Training
dramatically improved my health, and eventually changed my life and career
path. Deeply impressed by the power of relaxation, it was clear to me
that I wanted to impart the benefits of relaxation techniques to others.
In the ensuing years, I completed my training as a Relaxation
Therapy Practitioner and added training in Swedish Massage as well as workshops in
Breuss Massage (a special massage to alleviate intervertebral disk problems).
I opened my relaxation office in Neuss (Rhineland) that quickly became
popular. In addition, I developed and conducted, together with a relaxation
pedagogue colleague, multi-day relaxation programs. These courses were
supported by health insurances for their insurance takers and the State
Ministry for Education for groups of vocational teachers.
In
2005 I married my high school sweetheart who had moved to North America
fifteen years earlier. We moved to our current
location in Storrs where I reopened my office.
In May 2010 I moved my office for relaxation to the Mansfield Healing Arts Center, 175 Stafford Road, Mansfield Center. |
